CoE Group, based in Vaasa, is a growing Finnish engineering design and consultancy company founded in 2012. The company provides expert services particularly for the needs of the green energy and industrial sectors. It operates in ten locations across Finland and has a subsidiary in Sweden. The engineering company currently employs 180 people.
The company’s CEO, Sami Kivioja, and Marcus Grönholm share a history of more than ten years in the world of motorsport. Kivioja serves as Team Principal of the Co-Motorsport team, and in addition, they are business partners in MRF Tyres Finland, an importer of specialist racing tyres that has achieved several Finnish championship titles.
Grönholm, who has been appointed brand ambassador, says it was easy to persuade him to become the face and ambassador of the company.
“I have known Sami for a long time, and we share the same relentless approach to work. Our values aligned. CoE Group is a company that takes great care of its clients, values the wellbeing and development of its people, and is pursuing growth and international expansion together with the private equity firm Juuri Partners.”

“I want to be part of this successful growth story and help represent Finnish work, entrepreneurship and top-level expertise,” says Grönholm.
Kivioja says he is delighted that they can proudly announce that the two-time World Rally Champion is CoE Group’s brand ambassador. The collaboration between Grönholm and CoE Group forms part of the company’s long-term work to strengthen its brand and increase awareness.
“Our shared experience in a high-performance environment gives this collaboration a strong foundation. Success in motorsport and rallying is built on systematic work, continuous development and the ability to perform under pressure.”
“What Marcus and I share is a background of working together in an environment where performance makes the difference. Our collaboration supports the development of the CoE Group brand and strengthens our position as an ambitious and growth-oriented company,” Kivioja emphasises.
