The acquisition announced earlier this summer by CoE Group and Gofore was completed on 1 September 2026. As a result of the transaction, Huld Oy’s Product Design & Technical Documentation business, previously part of the Gofore Group, together with approximately 120 product design and technical documentation experts, has become part of CoE Group.
Following the completion of the acquisition, CoE Group grows into an engineering and consulting company with 300 experts. At the same time, the company’s service offering and delivery capacity will be significantly strengthened, particularly in serving customers in industry, energy, the technology sector and defence.
More comprehensive services for customers through a single partner
The acquisition strengthens CoE Group’s ability to serve both existing and new customers even more comprehensively. In addition to automation, electrical, instrumentation and mechanical engineering, the company will now have strong expertise in product development, product design and technical documentation.

Customer collaboration continues seamlessly
CoE Group’s goal in connection with the acquisition is to ensure continuity in customer collaboration and to develop services together with its customers.
As a result of the transaction, CoE Group will also gain new customers and strengthen its expertise particularly in the design of physical products, equipment systems and technical documentation for the industrial and defence sectors.
At the same time, cooperation between CoE Group and Gofore will continue. The companies have agreed on long-term collaboration aimed at building comprehensive service offerings for customers at the intersection of industrial digitalisation, software development, product development and product design.
